About Us

The Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly (G.R.A.P.E.) is a not-for-profit organization. Its membership consists of professionals, volunteers, students, and other interested persons who serve the older adult population in the Greater Rochester area and aspire to improve the quality of services for the elderly.

G.R.A.P.E. accomplishes this by sharing expertise, knowledge and skills, and by acting as advocates for the elderly in ways deemed appropriate by the membership. G.R.A.P.E. seeks to foster a sense of camaraderie among professionals; provide high-quality education and training; influence social and public policies, and facilitate debate about emerging issues.

G.R.A.P.E.'s keystone publication is The ElderPages Directory, the most current and accurate up-to-date listing of elder services in the Greater Rochester area. Now offered on-line, health care professionals can rely upon detailed and comprehensive information to make appropriate referrals throughout the elder care community. The on-line version can be found at www.TheElderPages.com. The ElderPages Directory will continue to be printed and distributed through G.R.A.P.E.'s member organizations due to the demand for this valuable resource by the general public.

G.R.A.P.E. members pride themselves on staying current with new services, legislation, and products that impact the quality of life of our elders. Through monthly educational programs, networking, and advocacy, G.R.A.P.E. connects and enriches senior resources in the Greater Rochester community.

If you have an interest in the elderly because you provide services, market products, seek to understand issues, or wish to meet others who are like-minded to share your interests, we invite you to join our diverse membership.

Membership dues are $125.00 per year for professionals and $40.00 per year for students and retired professionals. Membership year is July 1st - June 30th. Contact the G.R.A.P.E. Office for more information regarding membership.
